How to add music to slideshow posts
Music is automatically added to TikTok slideshow/carousel/image posts. Other platforms in post bridge don't currently support music for slideshow/carousel posts.
How TikTok handles music for slideshow posts
When you create slideshow posts on TikTok, the platform automatically applies music for you. This happens because TikTok's API doesn't currently support manual music selection for slideshow posts.
What music gets added
In our backend, auto_music is set to true to select trending sounds for your slideshow posts. The platform picks a random trending sound and applies it to all your slideshow posts automatically.
TikTok doesn't provide the functionality to manually choose music for slideshow posts through their developer interface. This means all slideshow posts will use TikTok's automatic music selection. This feature will be added to post bridge when TikTok's API allows it.

Managing random music selection
Since TikTok applies random music to your slideshow posts, you have two options to manage this:
1. Post through Post Bridge, then adjust audio weekly in the TikTok app. You can change the audio after your video is posted.
2. Keep the random audio and monitor performance. Many of the automatically selected songs are trending audios that may perform well.
Other platforms
Music for slideshow/carousel posts is not yet supported on other platforms besides TikTok.
