Post Bridge Platform Limits and Restrictions

Post Bridge has specific limits in place to ensure optimal performance and protect the platform from abuse.

Post Scheduling Limits

To protect the system from abuse, each post bridge account (your email login) has these limits:

  • Posts: 400 per hour, and 100 per 5 minutes.
  • Media uploads: 1,000 per hour, and 250 per 5 minutes.
  • API requests: 10 per second per API key (every call counts: uploads, posts and reads).

API responses include a RateLimit-Policy header with the post and media limits. A 429 from the per-second limit comes with x-ratelimit-limit, x-ratelimit-remaining and x-ratelimit-reset; a 429 from the post or media limits comes with Retry-After. Send API calls one after another rather than in parallel bursts and you will stay well inside these limits.

Video Upload Limits

Accepted Formats: MP4 or MOV

Aspect Ratios: 9:16, 16:9, 1:1 & 4:3 ratios are the only video formats we support currently.

File Limits: 3 seconds minimum. 300 seconds maximum (5 minutes).

Max total upload size (Marketer and Operator plans): 500MB

Image Upload Limits

Accepted Formats: JPG or PNG

Aspect Ratios: All ratios work. We crop your images to fit all platforms for you; you can then crop your image using our cropping option.

File Limits: Max 8MB per image. Max 35 total images.

Max total upload size (Marketer and Operator plans): 500MB

Future changes

We will look into extending the video length limit in the near future. There are plans to increase this limit in the coming months, but it will take some time.

Keep your videos under 5 minutes to ensure they work across all platforms post bridge supports.
